Joe Begos & Graham Skipper Talk Indie Film Making, Stuart Gordon & THE MIND’S EYE On SHOCK WAVES!

This week on our own Blumhouse.com produced horror podcast, we’ve got quite a packed show for you!

In the episode embedded below, Blumhouse.com editor-in-chief Rebekah McKendry reports back from the recently wrapped 2016 Fantasia Film Festival, where she got to check out a slew of new genre films including WE ARE THE FLESH (write-up on that one right here), WE GO ON, I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER, Ricky Bates’ latest TRASH FIRE and much, much more. Plenty of upcoming titles to make note of and be on the look out for later this year!

Then for the interview portion of the show, hosts Rob Galluzzo (that’s me!) and Elric Kane are joined by very special guests Joe Begos and Graham Skipper, the writer/director and star (respectively) of the upcoming horror/sci-fi flick THE MIND’S EYE. (In select theaters and available on VOD August 5th!) We delve into the inspirations behind the film, making movies with your friends on your own terms, how they both met while working for Stuart Gordon and then start gushing about Gordon’s filmography in general, including his unmade movies such as AMERICAN PSYCHO with Johnny Depp and STEROID (aka BERSERKER) with Arnold Schwarzenegger! As you can probably tell from the post-show photo below, only one full bottle of whiskey was harmed during the recording of this episode, So kick back, check out the embed below and enjoy this fun, candid chat!
