Want to Adopt This Haunted Doll? Better Watch Her Live Video Stream First!

Over the past year or so, we’ve introduced you to dozens of allegedly haunted dolls, many of which have very dangerous reputations.

But today, website The Lineup and cable network DESTINATION AMERICA want you to meet a new friend: this antique porcelain doll named Ann, who was once part of a woman’s collection of dolls reputed to be possessed by the spirits of dead children.

The woman, whose identity is only given as “Lois,” once cared for young tuberculosis patients at the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky — considered to be one of the most haunted locations on Earth — from 1919 to 1935, when no TB vaccine existed and the disease was often fatal.

Lois apparently kept detailed journals about her young charges, whose spirits she claimed followed her home after the children died.

Lois was advised to purchase a collection of dolls in which to house the restless young souls, and one of these was the doll you see here, which she claimed to contain the spirit of a 13-year-old TB victim named Ann.

In her journals, she wrote that Ann was once scared of the dark, and therefore the doll bearing her name could be heard crying out in the night. Lois also claimed that the doll sometimes moved her arm, and a real tear once ran down her cheek.

Following Lois’s death, the dolls are apparently seeking new ownership — including Ann, who currently resides at The Lineup offices, with a live surveillance camera focused on her 24 hours a day (you can watch the live feed below).

Over a two-week period, the doll is being tested, observed and examined by paranormal experts, and the results will be made available on the site. They also want viewers of the live stream to report any strange activities they might see.

But here’s the best part: The Lineup is offering a chance to adopt Ann into your home.

All you have to do is email contest@the-line-up.com to tell them why you think you’d be the perfect parent for Ann, and at the end of the observation period they will choose a lucky (?) winner.

Visit The Lineup for the full contest rules, and be sure to keep close watch on this live feed…
